Cyber Monday Just Broke This Record
Cyber Monday this year is going down as the largest online sales day in U.S. history.
According to data compiled by Adobe Digital Insights, shoppers spent $3.45 billion on Cyber Monday to create a new record.
Adobe Digital Insights, which publishes research on digital marketing and other topics of interest to senior marketing and e-commerce executives across industries, said that Cyber Monday sales jumped 12.1 percent year-over-year and surpassed initial expectations that called for total sales of $3.36 billion.
Top-selling electronics by units on Cyber Monday included iPhones, PlayStation 4’s, Xboxes, and Samsung 4k TVs.
Top-selling toys included Hasbro’s Nerf Dart guns, and Mattel Barbie doll.
