Tiger Woods just won the 2019 Masters on Sunday, marking his 15th major win and his 5th masters.

The fact that it has been more than a decade since Woods has won a championship had fans very excited for the Golfer.

Sport apparel and shoe company Nike was also celebrating his win. After Woods was declared the winner, Nike added a video on its social media channels with the golfer.

“It’s crazy to think a 43-year old who has experienced every high and every low and has just won his 15th major is chasing the same dream as a three-year old,” said the ad.

By Sunday afternoon, many of the Tiger-Woods branded apparel and accessories for men on Nike’s website were sold out.

The value of Woods’ Sunday victory for Nike is roughly $22,540,000, according to Apex Marketing.

Woods is three times better known by the general public than the average athlete, according to surveys by the Q Score company.

“Yes, there’s always going to be people who are detractors for what he did. That’s more of an issue these days. But he’s still a marketable commodity,” said Bob Dorfman, an endorsement expert and executive creative director at Baker Street Advertising. “I think they’ll be much more visible with him now leading up the other majors. Everything points upwards for Nike and Tiger.”
