According to a report from Business Insider, fast food giant McDonald’s will sell its own version of Dunkin’s Donut Fries.

The debut of the fries, which are deep-fried sticks that resemble Dunkin’s limited-time Donut Fries, is expected to be debuted in February said the report.

Dunkin had released their sticks in July and were one of the company’s most popular limited menu items.

According to the Business Insider report, McDonald’s will be serving the sticks only at breakfast and for a limited time. The sticks are similar to churros and are made from sweetened dough with cinnamon sugar sprinkling on the outside.

McDonald’s will offer a deal of six Donut Sticks and a small coffee for $1.99 said the report. If patrons do not want the coffee, they can buy the six sticks for $1.29 or a dozen for $2.39.

“We want to do better at breakfast,” McDonald’s CEO Steve Easterbrook said to investors this past October.

“We’re not surprised to see competitors imitate our success with Donut Fries given their popularity with customers, ” Dunkin’ spokesperson Michelle King said to CNBC. King said that the company may bring the Donut Fries back in the future.
