This WWE Wrestler Wouldn’t Mind Running for President
Dwayne Johnson, otherwise known as The Rock to many of his WWE fans, wouldn’t mind a political career.
Opening up to Jaime Foxx on Foxx’s new interview series called Off Script, which was exclusively presented on Yahoo Entertainment, 46-year old Johnson said, “I would consider running, yes.”
He added, “The most important thing I could do is consider it, and then we got to go to school. You got to learn. Because holding office, any level, local, state, federal, and then president of the United States, I treat that with such an amount of respect.”
The “People’s Champion” also talked about how important his fans are. He said, “It’s the most important relationship that I have.” The actor is in contact with them via social media.
Johnson has a new action movie called Skyscraper premiering today on July 13th. He said about his new movie, “I love to make movies for the world to enjoy. What I loved about that character that he did, he was able to kick ass, and it’s always fun to kick ass. But then to have like a little charm to it — he was in on it. He would get his ass kicked, and he loved and celebrated women.”
