Apple to Release An App that Can Let You Measure Almost Anything

To be released with Apple’s iOS 12 update, the company will be releasing a new Measure app that will let you measure almost anything using your phone.

The tape measure may become obsolete with this app and is can let you size just about anything with your phone instead of a measuring tape.

The app is expected to launch in the next several months in iOS 12 and works by tapping to add points on the object and see the measurement on screen. The app works on 2D objects like a piece of paper and 3D objects like a box.

Along with this app, Apple is also making animoji a lot more personal. Called Memoji, you will be able to make your own virtual avatar where you can personalize your features. It will be alongside the Animoji in the iMessage interface and you will be able to send a 30-second clip with audio through iMessage.
