Dell May Be Considering an IPO or a Deal with VMware

Dell, the PC maker, may be considering a public share offering according to reports from various media outlets that included the Wall Street Journal.

Media reports have revealed that the company is considering strategic options that may include also a deal with VMware.

VMWare just hit an all-time high on Thursday as traders embraced the reports. In the last twelve months shares of the stock have gained over 60%.

The company’s board will be meeting later on this month to discuss options according to a report on Bloomberg.
