This Apple Product Will Explode Next Year
Author By Sophia VidaPosted on According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple’s Airpods are going to be exploding next year.
The analyst believes the tech giant will ship 13-14 million Airpods this year and 26-28 million units next year.
The product, which only just launched earlier this year, are wireless headphones that can be used on all Apple devices.
MacRumors is responsible for obtaining Kuo’s note, which said, “We expect AirPods to remain one of the most popular Apple accessories in 2018, with shipments likely to rise 100% YoY to 26-28 million units.”
It hasn’t been revealed how many AirPods Apple has already sold, but the company is even planning on launching a new case for them which will allow users to charge them alongside their iPhone and Apple Watch wirelessly.
