George Clooney Is Finally A Father!

George and his wife Amal Clooney have just welcomed twins into the world. A boy named Alexander and a girl named Ella.

Many never thought George Clooney would marry let alone have children. He’s been pretty vocal in the past about not having a desire to have any children. Perhaps getting married helped him change his mind.

Clooney told ET in March, “I don’t know how you fully digest [having two], but I’m excited. It will be fun.”
Clooney’s representative told People, “This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine. George is sedated and should recover in a few days.”

It was just in February that it was revealed Amal was pregnant when Julie Chen on The Talk said, “Congratulations are in order for George and Amal Clooney. The Talk has confirmed that the 55-year-old superstar and his highly accomplished 39-year-old attorney wife are expecting twins.”

Matt Damon has said to Entertainment Tonight Canada, “I was working with him last fall and he pulled me aside on set and I mean, I almost started crying. I was so happy for him.”
