Samsung Electronics To Publish Galaxy Note 7 Report
Samsung Electronics had a rocky 2016 with their fire catching Galaxy Note phones. What was the company’s flagship smartphone is now recalled due to reports saying odd-sized batteries caused overheating and fires. 2.5 million phones had been recalled and cost the company more than $5 billion.
Samsung announced that its executives will hold a press conference on Monday Jan. 23 to announce the results of its months-long investigation into the Galaxy Note 7 disaster.
According to reports from both Wall Street and Reuters, irregular-sized batteries were the cause of the fires.
