Costco (COST) Recalled This Product For A Very Gross Reason
Some rubber in your meat sounds really yummy doesn’t it? Of course not. Which is why Costco and Sam’s Club had to issue an immediate recall on packages of pre-cooked ham.
The affected product includes 6-pound vacuum-sealed packages of Fletcher’s Fine Foods Classics Black Forest Brand Ham with Natural Juices. Un-chewable portions were found in the meats that had pieces of rubber material embedded within. They had been shipped to Costco and Sam’s Club stores and distribution centers in Alaska, Utah, and Washington.
The products were imported from Canada and contain the label “Est. #337” and packing code “16 OC 2016.” You can bring the ham back to the store for a refund or toss it in the trash.
