Rapper Chris Brown Arrested For Assault After Standoff

Chris Brown was arrested this week after allegedly pulling a gun on 25 year old model Baylee Curran inside his home.

According to Curran, who spoke to ABC News about the incident, said she was “terrified, absolutely terrified,” adding, “I thought he was going to shoot me.”

Her call to the police led to a 14-hour standoff which ended with a search warrant obtained to enter Brown’s home and take him into custody.

Throughout the ordeal, Brown posted to social media, proclaiming he was innocent.

“You’re going to walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing,” he said in a video posted to Instagram.

Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos has also called the allegations “demonstrably false” in a tweet sent out early Wednesday.

Curran herself is wanted in New York for questioning for grand larceny over allegations that she stole a Michael Kors wallet from a friend back in 2013.

According to the model, the incident all started over her admiring some jewelry that someone had brought over in a box.

“I was just standing over it admiring it. Not touching it…and then one of Chris’s friends says back away from the diamond,” Curran claimed. “That’s when Chris came in and said ‘I’m so sick of all of you people.’ He took the gun out put it in my face and said ‘get the F out.'”

“I didn’t want anything to escalate because, hello, he’s holding a gun to me,” Curran said.

Brown was released on $250,000 bail and his next court date is set for Sept. 20.
