Ultra Luxurious Panic Rooms Are A Thing
Well when you have the money, sometimes you have to get creative on how to spend it.
According to a a Town & Country story in the September issue of the glossy, billionaires are outfitting their homes with ultra luxurious safe spaces that cost up to $500,000.
These ultra-luxe rooms are designed to protect against everything from natural disasters to home invasions and ISIS attacks.
They include infrared cameras, ballistic fiberglass, facial recognition software for entry, and air filtration units.
Jill Kargman, “Odd Mom Out” creator and star, has commented, “It becomes a competition at dinner parties … who has what state-of-the-art hazmat suits, and kits where you can drink your own pee, etcetera. When I saw Showtime’s ‘Billions’ I died laughing that they had millions in bearer bonds just as go money [set away in a safe room].”
