United Airlines (NYSE: UAL) Creates Luxury Pods For Intercontinental Flights
Author By Sophia VidaPosted on A new luxury experience, dubbed “Polaris” was just announced by United Airlines. The ‘suite-like pods’ will cradle business people from “departure-to-landing” on intercontinental flights.
The company has even commissioned custom bedding that’s emblazoned with the words “Saks Fifth Avenue.” International competitors have already touched on similar pods, but United is calling the Polaris a first for the US airline.
United Polaris will also offer Polaris airport lounges that offer “chef-inspired hot meals,” as well as “spa-like showers.”
Pricing has not been disclosed yet.
