33-year old investor Daren Metropoulos has officially closed on the purchase of the Playboy Mansion.

The businessman had been in talks to purchase the iconic Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles for some time and it’s now a done deal at a whopping $100 million, despite the asking price being $200 million.

Daren is the son of billionaire businessman C. Dean Metropoulos and currently the co-owner of snack food juggernaut Hostess Brands.

He also owns the estate next door to the Playboy mansion which he bought for $18 million from Hugh Hefner in 2009.

Hefner won’t have to pack his bags and will continue to occupy the mansion for the remainder of his life. Rumor has it though that the 90 year old pioneer will be paying $1 million in annual rent.

The Playboy estate features around five acres and the mansion has 29 rooms that span 20,000 square feet. The estate is one of only a handful of private homes in Los Angeles to have a zoo license as well.
