Google Working On Android Wear Smartwatches
The smartwatch market is about to grow bigger as Google could be soon bringing two more into the mix. According to a report from Android Police, Google is working on two Android Wear smartwatches.
The two smartwatches are said to place a heavy focus on the Google assistant artificial intelligence “bot.”
One watch is called the Swordfish and the other is called Angelfish. The Angelfish fits somewhere in between the 42mm and 46mm sizes of Lenovo’s Moto 360. This watch will feature LTE connectivity, built-in GPS, and a heart rate monitor.
No word yet on when Google plans to unveil the watches but if the rumor holds true, it could be sometime this Fall when the new Nexus phones and the launch of Android Wear 2.0 comes out. The Android Police believe they will be announced separately however.
