Italian automaker Ferrari, known for its luxurious race cars, has gone electric in an incredible way.

The company has unleashed the most powerful street-legal car ever dubbed the SF90 Stradale. The car’s name comes from
Ferrari’s 2019 Formula One race car, the SF90 in honor of Ferrari’s 90 years in racing. The word “stradale” translates to “road” in Italian.

This is Ferrari’s very first plug-in hybrid that’s not built for the racetrack and is powered by a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 that generates 769 horsepower.

The vehicle also gets another 217 horsepower from three electric motors, one that powers the rear wheels and two for the front.

The SF90 can do zero-to 62 mph in only 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 211 mph.

No price has been determined yet on the car but deliveries are expected to start in the beginning of 2020.
