A Fold-able Electric Bicycle At An Affordable Price

China’s Xiaomi, who is best known for affordable yet high quality smart phones, has just unveiled an electric bicycle. The best part is that you can fold it.

It’s called the Mi QiCYCLE Electric Folding Bike, and it comes with 250W, 36V motor, and packs 20 Panasonic lithium-ion batteries.

The “smart” bicycle also comes with a companion app that displays information about your speed, distance, and calories burned. It also has a system called IDbike Torque Measurement Method that uses sensors to optimize the effort you are putting into pedaling. This means you don’t have to go into overkill to get your desired speed.

The bicycle’s initial price is 3,000 RMB which is around $455. The price seems like a dream, but don’t get your hopes up just yet. Right now the bike is limited to customers in China only.
