30 Maseratis Pulled Over By NY Police

In what may have looked like a scene from Fast and the Furious (the ultra luxury version at least), about 30 high-performance sport cars were pulled over on Saturday by New York police.

According to a state police spokesperson, about 30 Maseratis were pulled over in Putnam. The cars, primarily Maseratis and Bentleys, were pulled over at about 10 a.m. on Route 22 in Patterson after a public complaint of cars revving their engines and speeding.

The exact number of cars involved in the incident is unknown but several vehicles were issues traffic tickets. The group was said to be driving to Lime Rock racetrack in Connecticut.

The car makes also included McLaren, Ferrari and Aston Martin.
