You Won’t Believe What Hilary Duff Puts In Her Son’s Lunchbox
Hilary Duff has come a long way since her Disney days. Today she’s on the hit TV Land show Younger and has a 4 and a half year old son with her ex husband retired hockey player Mike Comrie.
What you won’t believe is what she puts in her son Luca’s lunchbox. Olives. Her little boy loves olives.
Most kids are wanting fruit snacks and pb&j for their 12 o’clock feast.
“He loves olives in his lunchbox! It’s so bizarre. But then he won’t touch his turkey sandwich,” said Duff to PEOPLE this week. “I’m like, ‘You are your mother’s child, you love salty things!’ But it can be frustrating, for sure.”
Luca also loves cheese.
“There’s this cheese shop in Beverly Hills I go to often, and he loves to go because they give him salami and prosciutto and weird cheeses, and he houses it!” explained Hilary.
Sounds like a child that knows fine eating.’
Duff and her sister Haylie host The Real Girl’s Kitchen. Her sister Haylie is mom to daughter Ryan Ava, 21 months.
“We definitely are supportive of each other and there for each other if one of us needs something, but it’s funny — it’s almost like the kids kind of stepped into the role of supporting each other and teaching each other, too,” Haylie told PEOPLE.
