Where is Casey Anthony Today?

Casey Anthony may not have been in the public’s eye these last few years, but it’s hard to forget her.

It’s been five years this month since she was acquitted of murder charges in the death of her 2-year old daughter Caylee.

The mainstream case garnered massive attention across the nation and many were extremely upset by the verdict. Upon her release from Florida’s Orange County jail, she was greeted by hundreds of protestors.

So where is she today?

Anthony just celebrated her 30th birthday and according to several sources, she’s “bored.” Despite launching her own photography business this year called Case Photography, she has done very few projects says one source.

According to PEOPLE’s sources, Casey Anthony still resides in South Florida and receives financial support from some members of her legal team. Even the few dates she has been set up on have been in the circle of her legal team.

Sources say that Anthony’s everyday existence, away from the glare of the media spotlight, is monotonous.

One source close to her described her daily routine.. “She gets up each day, hangs around, checks the internet, takes some pictures, and doesn’t do much. She can’t hold a real job, and she doesn’t really make a lot of friends, for obvious reasons.

When people find out about her history, they usually bail on her. She’s 30, with very few friends her age.”

“She’s got enough money to live, but not enough to really do anything,” says the source. “She sort of lives like an old person, on a fixed income without much going on in her life. She’s bored, and she complains about boredom all the time.”

Three different sources have revealed that Anthony no longer speaks to her parents on a regularly basis.

“They don’t really talk,” the ource tells PEOPLE. Adds a different source, “She has spoken with her mother a few times, but she doesn’t talk to her dad at all.”

Better bored at home watching re-runs on TV, than back in county jail, huh?
