Was WWE Star Paige Arrested This Weekend?

It all started with a tweet this past Sunday night that had everyone thinking WWE star Paige had been arrested.

The rumor was that Paige was arrested at or during Sunday’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view, and possibly for an altercation involving Alberto Del Rio, her boyfriend.

Saraya Knight, Paige’s mother, who is also an independent wrestler, quickly took to Twitter to deny the rumors.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, the incident was not just a rumor and Paige had been detained by police near Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Metro Police Department had said that they were outside of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas that night for an unrelated incident when they were flagged down for a female who was seen running into the streets. That woman was detained, and officers determined that she needed to be taken to the hospital for undisclosed reasons.

WWE is conducting a further investigation into the incident, however Paige was on Raw and was not in the hospital.
