Tiger Woods Partners With Discovery’s GOLFTV
It looks like pro golfer Tiger Woods will be coming to people’s televisions as part of a partnership with Dicovery’s GOLFTV.
The network announced the news on Tuesday that Woods will be producing weekly golf instructional videos and will be giving fans a view of his life on the PGA Tour.
The live and on-demand video streaming service will collaborate with the 14-time Major champion on a wide range of programming.
Woods remarked, “I want to talk to golf fans and golfers everywhere, directly, and straight from me. That’s important to me. Talking about what we care about: what’s happening on the course, how to play better, how can I shoot lower scores tomorrow, how can I beat my friends?”
“Getting the chance to do instruction is exciting,” he said.
“I’ve always been focused on my own game and this experience can help players everywhere. Whether you’re a long-time player or a beginner, there are some things that help us all play better.”
“If I can help the next generation enjoy the game more and play better, that’s pretty special.”
GOLFTV, a live and on-demand video streaming service will offer access to nearly 150 tournaments annually starting on Jan. 1.
