This Is Why Goldie Hawn Never Married Kurt Russell

70-year old Goldie Hawn has been in a relationship with her partner Kurt Russell for 33 years and marriage is still not on the table for the actress.

She commented during an episode of UK’s ITV Loose Women on Monday, stating that if she had wed Russell, she would be “long divorced” by now.

“Marriage is an interesting sociological thing. If you need to be bound to someone, then it’s important to be married,” Hawn said.

“If you have independence, if you have enough money and enough sense of independence and you like your independence, there is something psychological about not being married because it gives you the freedom to make decisions.”

“In a healthy, longer-term relationship, I would say it’s great to be together about 68% of the time.”
