Taylor Swift Makes a $50,000 Donation To A Food Bank

Swift is one of the richest women in the world, in fact she’s the highest paid entertainer, and in an effort to help the flooding that recently happened in Louisiana, she made a $50,000 donation ot the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.

The charitable act is a portion of the $1 million that Swift has vowed to donate as relief for the tens of thousands of home and business owners who have been displaced by the storms in the Baton Rouge area.

The area had been declared a disaster area by President Barack Obama and has killed at least 13 people.

The food bank gave her a shout out on its Instagram page:

“Today @taylorswift donated $50,000 to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank!” the caption reads. “The #laflood destroyed our warehouse but we are going to shake it off!”
