R. Kelly is Allegedly Holding Six Women in a Cult

According to the parents of several women, R&B singer R. Kelly is holding six women against their will in an abusive cult.

BuzzFeed has the scoop as they interviewed the parents in a new report. According to the parents, who are parents to several women still in the cult, and three who were former members, the women are being held against their will in the singer’s inner circle.

According to BuzzFeed’s report, citing the three former members: Cheryl Mack, Kitti Jones, and Asante McGee, “Six women live in properties rented by Kelly in Chicago and the Atlanta suburbs. He controls every aspect of their lives: dictating what they eat, how they dress, when they bathe, when they sleep, and how they engage in sexual encounters that he records.”

All of the women are of the age of consent in Illinois and Georgia.
BuzzFeed has reported that several of the women’s parents have seeked help from the police to get their daughters back.

One Georgia mother said her daughter “looked like a prisoner” and that she was “brainwashed.”

A representative for Kelly made a statement to BuzzFeed denying the allegations.

This isn’t the first time R. Kelly has been alleged of something indecent. He was acquitted back in 2008 on 14 charges of child pornography.
