Playboy Just Made History By Naming First Transgender Playmate
A French model has made history by becoming the very first transgender playmate for famed iconic sexy magazine Playboy.
The 26-year model, who’s name is Ines Rau, is openly transgender, and is the first transgendered person to be named a Playboy Playmate in the 64 years hat Playboy has been around.
There have been other transgender models to appear in the publication, but none have yet to be called a Playmate until Rau.
Rau will receive the title in the November/December 2017 issue of the magazine where she not only wll be featured in a photo spread but will show an interview about her transgender identity.
Rau commented, “I lived a long time without saying I was transgender. I dated a lot and almost forgot. I was scared of never finding a boyfriend and being seen as weird. Then I was like, You know, you should just be who you are. It’s a salvation to speak the truth about yourself, whether it’s your gender, sexuality, whatever. The people who reject you aren’t worth it. It’s not about being loved by others; it’s about loving yourself.”
She also stated, “Being a woman doesn’t mean being extremely feminine all the time. Being a woman is just being a woman.”
This is not the first time Rau has been in Playboy but it is the first time she has been named a Playmate.
