Patton Oswalt Reveals Why His Wife Suddenly Passed Away

Patton Oswalt’s wife Michelle McNamara suddenly passed away in her sleep nearly one year in her sleep.

Her passing at the age of 46 rocked social media and celebrities as well as fan were heart broken for Oswalt and McNamara’s young daughter.

Oswalt revealed this week why his wife suddenly passed away.

“We learned today the combination of drugs in Michelle’s system, along with a condition we were unaware of, proved lethal,” the actor wrote in a statement to the Associated Press on Friday.

Oswalt and his wife had no idea that she had a condition that caused blockages in her arteries.

Oswalt said that these blockages, combined with her taking the medications Adderall, Xanax and the pain medication fentanyl, caused his wife’s death in April 2016.
