If Mark Zuckerberg Can Be Hacked, So Can You

We are constantly being reminded to switch our online passwords up and keep them creative. With so many security threats out there, it’s vital that we protect ourselves and our passwords are a way how.

Someone should have given this memo to Facebook CEO’s Mark Zuckerberg.

His Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram accounts were all hacked this weekend. Zuckerberg had re-used his LinkedIn password, which was one of more than 100 million passwords stolen in 2012 and dumped online last month.

Hacker group OurMine Team, wrote that Zuckerberg’s password was “dadada.”

The group claimed credit for the breaches, but didn’t bare any malicious intent. “Hey, we are just testing your security, please dm us for contact,” they wrote on Zuckerberg’s Pinterest page.

The hackers’ messages were quickly erased and their Twitter account was suspended.
