Madonna Speaks Out On Rocco Ritchie’s Arrest

Rocco Ritchie, the son of pop star Madonna, was arrested back on September 28th for the possession of marijuana in London.
Although the incident happened in September, reports about it only surfaced this week.

Madonna issued a statement to the Associated Press and called the arrest a, “family matter.”

“I love my son very much. I will do whatever I can to give him the support that he needs, and I ask that you respect our privacy at this time,” she said.

It was also in September that Madonna and her ex-husband Guy Ritchie, finally agreed to end a custody dispute that lasted for months. They had agreed to allow Rocco to continue living with his father in London.
