Kanye West was the music performer on the premiere of Saturday Night Live this past weekend and he made a very controversial appearance.

The rapper, who says he is “leading the pack,” sported a MAGA (Make America Great Again) hat and delivered a pro-Trump speech.

While his rant wasn’t aired on television, Chris Rock captured a video of it. “I want to cry right now, black man in America, supposed to keep what you’re feeling inside right now,” West sang.

He continued: “There’s so many times I talk to like a white person about this and they say, ‘How could you like Trump? He’s racist. Well, if I was concerned about racism I would’ve moved out of America a long time ago.”

Trump applauded West, tweeting, “He’s leading the charge!”

In August Kanye (who know goes by Ye) had tweeted, “You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.”
