Whether you’re a fan of K-Pop, a fan of McDonald’s, or maybe even both, you will be glad to learn that BTS has teamed up with the fast food giant for a new meal.

The popular K-Pop band will have a BTS meal at the restaurant franchise that consists of 10 chicken McNuggets, a medium fries, and a medium coke. It will also come with sweet chili and Cajun dipping sauces.

The two new sauces are only now making their U.S. debut and previously were not available. The sweet chili and Cajun flavors are inspired by McDonald’s South Korea recipes, the burger chain said.

The “BTS Meal” goes on sale May 26 in the United States, Canada and Brazil and soon after in nearly 50 countries spanning six continents and consists of the “superstar band’s signature order,” the company announced Monday.

The meal goes on sale in the band’s home country of South Korea on May 27th.

It was back in April of 2019 that BTS, the band behind the hit song “Dynamite,” became the third group in 50 years to have three number one
albums on the Billboard 200 charts in less than a year. The joined the ranks of The Beatles when they accomplished this feat.

McDonald’s Global Chief Marketing Officer Alistair Macrow wrote, “As we continue to harness our scale and our fans’ love of our core menu items, we’re taking this program one big step further. Introducing… the BTS Meal. We’re joining forces with global pop icons, BTS, to offer their favorite order in nearly 50 participating markets – making this our first celebrity signature order that will be available to McDonald’s customers all over the world. ”

He added, “True to the Famous Orders that have come before it, this is much more than a traditional promotional campaign; and we’re tapping into McDonald’s key strengths to bring it to life. That work starts today, as we maximise our industry-leading Marketing capability to celebrate the union of these two iconic brands and excite our millions of fans. Just as importantly, the BTS Meal will celebrate our Core menu favorites in a fresh, captivating way – and we’ll use our Digital footprint to engage with customers on the channels that are most convenient for them.”
