Jim Carrey’s Former Girlfriend’s Suicide Note Revealed
Jim Carrey’s former girlfriend Cathriona White fatally overdosed on prescription medicines last September, shortly after breaking up with the star.
The toxicology report revealed that she had a variety of prescription pills in her system at the time of her death, including propranolol, zolpidem, oxycodone and oxymorphone.
She wrote in her suicide note addressed to Carrey, “I’ve spent 3 days now in disbelief that you’re not here. I can go on brokenhearted and try to put the pieces back. I could, I just don’t have the will this time.”
She also said, “I’m sorry you felt I wasn’t there for you. I tried to give you my best part.”
In regards to her funeral, she wrote, “I don’t really know about burial or that sort of thing. You are my family so whatever you choose will be fine. Please forgive me. I’m just not for this world.”
White was a native of the Tipperary region of Ireland and first met Carrey on a film set in 2012. The two reportedly dated for most of 2013 before reuniting in early 2015.
After Carrey found out about White’s passing, he issued an note stating that he was “deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona.”
“She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled.”
