James Corden Rocks Out With The Red Hot Chili Peppers

In last night’s “Carpool Karaoke” segment on The Late Late Show, the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers hopped into James Corden’s Range Rover to belt out some hits.

If you think it was one Red Hot Chili Peppers hit after the next (though they did sing a lot of them), then you are highly mistaken.

Last night’s segment featured hits from Flea’s favorite musical Oliver, as well as wrestling on a random lawn, and riding around shirtless.

Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith, and Josh Klinghoffer brought some rock to James Corden’s show, the best way possible. Flea and Kiedis even shared a song they wrote when they were 15 years old and were camping in the Sierra-Nevada mountains.

At one point the car stopped just so that Kiedis and Corden could get into a wrestling match on a random person’s front yard with Corden ending up in a submission hold. They then piled back into the car just for Corden, Kiedis, and Flea to take their shirts off so they could sing, “The Zephyr Song.”

“Somehow the fact that the three of us have got our tops off, it feels completely normal,” said Corden.
