Jack Nicholson Is Coming Out Of Retirement To Play This Role
It’s been nearly a decade since Jack Nicholson acted in a big screen movie, but the actor is coming out of retirement to play the role of a father in a remake of the Oscar-nominated German film “Toni Erdmann.”
According to sources, Variety Paramount Pictures acquired the remake rights and Nicholson will play the title character, opposite Kristen Wiig who will play his daughter.
In the original German “Toni Erdmann,” which stars Sandra Huller and Peter Simonischek, a joking father tries to reconnect with his daughter by creating an altergo and posing as her CEO’s life coach.
Paramount had no comment.
