Here’s One Big Reason to Check Out Jay-Z’s New Album

After Beyonce released Lemonade a little over a year ago, many people had a lot of questions. Did her husband Jay-Z cheat on her? We may now know.

Jay-Z just addressed the questions with his own album, titled, 4:44. The album is very personal for the 47-year old rapper who talks about his nine year marriage to Beyonce and being a father to three of their kids. Beyonce just recently welcomed twins, a boy and a girl, and they also have a daughter named Blue Ivy.

He states, “This is my real life. I just ran into this place and we built this big, beautiful mansion of a relationship that wasn’t totally built on the 100 percent truth and it starts cracking. Things start happening that the public can see.”

“Then we had to get to a point of, ‘Okay, tear this down and let’s start from the beginning,'” he admits. “It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done.”

He recalls being on vacation and begging Beyonce to not leave him. He explains, “What is happening to my body right now? Did I just say, ‘Don’t leave’? All this is new for me.”

Jay-Z admits he had Beyonce listen to the album before releasing it. “We just got to a place where, in order for this to work, this can’t be fake,” he continues. “Not one ounce. I’m not saying it wasn’t uncomfortable because obviously it was.”
