Fans Shocked At This TV Couple’s Separation

Tarek and Christina El Moussa are a married couple that star on HGTV’s Flip or Flop. They couple has portrayed themselves as the all-American couple as they flip homes for a living on national TV.

Their marriage however, is far from perfect. The two stars announced they are separating as they reevaluate their marriage.

Could the big fight in May that happened between the couple be the reason for the split?

Back In May, deputies responded to a “a call of a possibly suicidal male with a gun” at their Orange County home.

According to law enforcement, 11 deputies and a helicopter showed up after witnesses told police that they saw Tarek grab a gun from his safe and run out the back door down a hiking trail.

Tarek was quickly spotted on a trail and deputies told him to drop his weapon. According to Tarek all he wanted to do was “blow off some steam,” and only brought the gun for mountain lions and rattlesnakes.

Deputies seized 5 guns from the couple’s house.

Despite the separation, HGTV says that the show “will continue production as scheduled.”
