Donald Trump Reportedly Called This Deaf Actress “Retarded”

Marlee Matlin, an American actress who has won the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for Children of a Lesser God, was also once a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice in 2011.

Matlin is deaf, and according to new allegations, Donald Trump called her, “retarded.”

More than one source, all of which have requested anonymity due to nondisclosure agreements with the show, told the Daily Beast that Trump insulted the actress over being hearing impaired.

He made comments not only behind her back, but also in front of her.

According to one source, one of the papers Trump had written on was found after filming, and it had read, “Marlee, is she retarded??”
