Carpool Karaoke Picks Up Michelle Obama

Posted on

Michelle Obama just made history being the very first, FIRST lady, to be on The Late Late Show’s Carpool Karaoke. James Corden drove to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C., for this very special episode of his show.

Michelle has already proven to be a very hip first lady, and she did it again by belting out Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I’m Yours,” as her first song in the traveling karaoke car. Shortly after it was Beyonce’s “Single Ladies,” that Michelle performed and it got her so excited that she commented, “We were making honey. We were making honey to put in our lemonade.”

While Michelle’s appearance was historic, another huge star randomly popped out of nowhere in the backseat… Missy Elliott!
She became the trio in singing “This Is For My Girls,” in tribute to Michelle’s Let Girls Learn campaign that brings education to girls all over the world. And what kind of a karaoke ride would it be with Missy if you don’t sing “Get Ur Freak On?” They sang it, and they slayed it.
