California Woman Wants $2 Billion From Chipotle (CMG)

In a story that just make the reader go, “WHAT?” A California woman is making people frown after they find out she is seeking more than $2 billion from Chipotle in a lawsuit.

The exact figure is $2,237,633,000. Leah Caldwell, according to Denver 7, alleges in her lawsuit that Chipotle has “made” that money off of her photo since a food photographer named Steve Adams took it in 2006.

According to Caldwell, Adams took the picture without warning in a Denver Chipotle. She says she refused to sign a release form authorizing the use of it on her way out. She then found her photo ina Chipotle’s promo at a Florida store in 2014, and in two Sacramento locations in 2015.

Caldwell believes the figure she wants reflects the profits that Chipotle made between 2006 and 2015 off of her photo.

Hmm.. I’m thinking, no.
