Boxer Mike Tyson Punches Fellow Plane Passenger Repeatedly in the Face
World renown boxer Mike Tyson is in the headlines again, this time for punching someone bloody on a flight this Wednesday.
Apparently, Tyson had punched the man in the face repeatedly after he annoyed him.
TMZ Sports learned that the incident all went down at around 10:30 PM PT as Tyson was slated to fly out of San Francisco International Airport to Florida.
The San Francisco Police Dept. has reported that TMZ Sports officers did respond to the scene and did detain two people they believed to be involved in the incident.
The police added that although one of the people was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, that person “provided minimal details of the incident and refused to cooperate further with the police investigation.”
The SFPD says it is aware of the video of the altercation and has forwarded it to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
According to sources, the man was extremely drunk and wouldn’t stop provoking Tyson.
A witness on the plane says as he and his friend were boarding Tyson’s flight and that the boxing legend was initially cool with them and the other passengers.
A witness also said that Mike took a selfie with the man he ended up punching … and then was patient with his overly excited buddy, who kept trying to talk to the fighter as he sat behind him.
Tyson reportedly told the guy he had enough and to relax. When the guy didn’t, that is when Tyson threw several punches at his face.
A witness says Mike walked off the plane just seconds later.
The man received medical attention and then went to the police after.
