HIGH UPSIDE ALERT:

Invest in North America’s Next Great Gold-Copper Producer Before the Market Catches Up

Troilus Mining Corp. (TSX: TLG); (OTCQX: CHXMF) is advancing one of North America’s largest undeveloped gold-copper deposits towards production with an operating mine expected before the end of the decade

The average analyst price target for the company’s shares represents potential upside of 118% from the current price

7 REASONS
Why Troilus Mining Corp. (TSX: TLG); (OTCQX: CHXMF) Should Be On Your Radar Today

1

A Generational Scale Asset: Troilus Mining Corp. (TSX: TLG); (OTCQX: CHXMF) has one of the largest undeveloped gold-copper deposits in North America. Since acquiring the former Troilus Mine in 2016, the company has drilled more than 360,000 meters and grown the resource from a two-million-ounce underground opportunity to 14.5 million ounces of gold equivalent in the measured, indicated and inferred categories. That includes 8 million ounces of proven and probable reserves.

2

Construction-Ready and Advancing Toward Production: A new technical report completed in September 2026, built on roughly 95,000 hours of engineering, outlines a 26-year mine life…average annual production of 304,000 ounces of gold equivalent during the main mining years…and a peak year of roughly 557,000 ounces. Basic engineering is complete, detailed engineering is underway and Metso has been selected to supply the first major package of processing equipment. The construction permit is expected in early 2027, with construction targeted to begin that year and an operating mine expected before the end of the decade.

3

Located in a Gold-Rich, Tier-1 Mining Jurisdiction: The project is located in a mining-friendly, gold-rich region of Quebec, Canada, which is consistently ranked among the top mining jurisdictions in the world by the Fraser Institute. In June 2026, the Quebec government and Hydro-Québec allocated 70 megawatts of low-cost hydroelectric power to the site, a milestone the mine could not be built without. Troilus was also one of just four projects selected for Quebec’s new Filon initiative, which provides dedicated government support through permitting. At the federal level, the project has been recognized as strategically important within Canada’s critical minerals ecosystemi, and the company joined Canada’s critical minerals trade missions to Germany, Japan and South Korea.ii

4

Economics Built on a Conservative Gold Price…With Plenty of Leverage Above It: The September 2026 technical report uses a base case gold price of US$3,600 per ounce. At that price, the project carries an after-tax net present value of US$3.2 billion, a 22% internal rate of return and a payback of just 3.6 years. Gold remains strong, trading above $4,100 per ounce, well above that base case. At $4,000 gold the after-tax NPV climbs to US$3.9 billion…and at $5,000 gold it reaches US$5.5 billion.

5

Wide Margins and a Brownfield Head Start: Life-of-mine all-in sustaining costs are estimated at US$1,340 per ounce, net of copper and silver credits, leaving an operating margin of roughly US$2,300 per ounce at the base case gold price. That margin grows with every dollar gold trades above $3,600. The project also benefits from more than US$500 million of existing infrastructure inherited from the former Troilus mine, which keeps capital costs down and gives the company a meaningful start over greenfield projects.

6

A Near-Term Producer With US$850 Million in Credit-Approved Debt: The biggest risk for any large development project is financing. Troilus has taken a major step toward putting that question to rest. In September 2026, KfW IPEX-Bank and Société Générale issued a credit-approved commitment letter for US$850 million after roughly 18 months of technical, environmental and permitting due diligence.i The company expects its total debt package to reach about US$1.1 billion of the project’s US$1.43 billion initial capital cost, with support from export credit agencies including Export Development Canada, Euler Hermes, EIFO, Finnvera and EKN. On the commercial side, Troilus has agreements in place with two of Europe’s leading smelters, Aurubis and Boliden. This level of institutional and international backing is rare for a company at this stage.

7

Analyst Consensus Shows Significant Upside Potential: Eight analysts now cover Troilus Mining Corp. (TSX: TLG); (OTCQX: CHXMF). including New York-based Maxim Group. Following the September technical report, the average price target rose 18% to C$4.52, with a high target of C$6.00. That average represents potential upside of more than 130% from today’s share price. Troilus is approximately 64% institutionally held and was recently added to the VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF (GDXJ).

Size, Location and Timing:
Troilus Mining Corp. is Developing a Generational-Scale Asset – in a Gold-Rich Region – at Exactly the Right Time

With gold trading above $4,100 per ounce, one Canadian company is now approaching a series of major catalysts that could unlock significant value for shareholders.

It’s a company that has built one of the largest undeveloped gold-copper deposits in North America…and it’s now on the doorstep of construction. Here’s what is unfolding:

Gold first crossed $4,000 an ounce in October 2025iv and continues to trade above that level, roughly two-and-a-half times its 2022 low. That kind of price environment gives gold miners enormous earning power…and it gives a development-stage company like Troilus a powerful tailwind as it moves toward production.

Troilus Mining Corp. is entering this environment at a pivotal moment. The company’s September 2026 technical report shows an after-tax NPV of US$3.2 billion using a gold price well below today’s level. Meanwhile US$850 million of project debt is already credit-approved and the construction permit is expected early next year.

That makes Troilus Mining Corp. (TSX: TLG); (OTCQX: CHXMF) one of the most compelling development-stage gold-copper stories in the market right now. It’s a near-term producer that’s expected to become an operating mine before the end of the decade.

Breaking News

Troilus Mandates Syndicate of Global Lenders for Up to US$700 Million Project Financing

On March 13, 2025 Troilus Gold Corp. (TSX: TLG); (OTCQX: CHXMF) announced that it has executed a non-binding mandated term sheet with a syndicate of leading global financial institutions, including Societe Generale, KfW IPEX-Bank, and Export Development Canada (“EDC”), (together the mandated lead arrangers or “MLAs”) to arrange a structured project debt financing package of up to US$700 million for the development and construction of the Troilus Gold-Copper Project.

This syndicate of lenders brings deep expertise in structuring project financing for large scale mining developments, reinforcing Troilus as a globally recognized, financeable asset. The execution of this term sheet represents a major milestone in advancing towards a fully funded construction package and follows four previously announced Letters of Intent (“LOIs”) from global export credit agencies (“ECAs”) totaling up to US$1.3 billion.

Troilus Mining Corp. is Building One of Canada’s Largest Future Gold-Copper Producers

The first thing to know about the opportunity with Troilus Mining Corp. is that the company controls an extremely large gold-copper asset…and is now actively building the team, infrastructure and financing to bring it into production.

The company’s Troilus Project is on the site of the former Troilus gold and copper mine, a past-producing mine located in the tier-one mining jurisdiction of Quebec, Canada.
Quebec has consistently been ranked among the top five mining jurisdictions in the world by the Fraser Institute.

The project’s existing infrastructure provides Troilus Mining Corp. with a huge advantage, as there is power running directly to the mine site and truck-ready roads leading to the project.

Troilus Mining Corp. currently holds a large land position of 435 km2 within the Frotet-Evans Greenstone Belt in north-central Quebec, one of the country’s richest gold regions.

The former Troilus gold and copper mine was operated from 1996 to 2010 by Inmet Mining Corp. During that time, the mine produced 2 million ounces of gold and 70,000 tonnes of copper via two open pits.

The mine was shut down in 2010 as the company focused its attention on its South American copper assets.

The mine was then acquired in 2016 privately from First Quantum Minerals, who had acquired Inmet, and in the years since Troilus Mining Corp. has invested $100 million into the ground.

During that time, Troilus Mining Corp. has drilled more than 360,000 meters and grown the resource from what was a two-million-ounce, underground opportunity into a 14.5 million-ounce measured, indicated and inferred resource – a more than 500% increase – making it one of the largest undeveloped gold-copper deposits in North America.

And right now, the company is moving through the final stages before construction begins.

September 2026 Technical Report Shows 26-Year Mine Life and US$3.2 Billion NPV

The company’s updated NI 43-101 technical report, released in September 2026, shows the potential for Troilus Mining to rank among the largest gold producers in Canada, with average annual production of about 304,000 ounces of gold equivalent over the first 21 years of a 26-year mine life. Over the full life of the mine, Troilus expects to produce 5.6 million ounces of payable gold, 472 million pounds of payable copper and 10.9 million ounces of payable silver.

And peak annual production is projected to reach a high of 557,000 ounces of gold equivalent annually.

That type of annual production places the Troilus Project right alongside the top producers in all of Canada.

This study goes far beyond a typical feasibility study. It rests on roughly 95,000 hours of engineering and about $20 million of engineering work, with about 90% of its cost inputs backed by current vendor quotes, including firm pricing on key equipment. That level of detail gives the US$1.43 billion initial capital estimate AACE Class 3 accuracy across the full project scope.

At the US$3,600 base case gold price, the project generates an after-tax NPV of US$3.2 billion, an after-tax IRR of 22% and a payback period of just 3.6 years. All-in sustaining costs come in at US$1,340 per ounce over the life of the mine, net of copper and silver credits, which leaves an operating margin of roughly US$2,300 per ounce. Cumulative after-tax free cash flow over the mine life is projected at US$6.9 billion.

Those numbers get a big assist from the project’s brownfield advantage: more than US$500 million of existing and upgraded infrastructure inherited from the former Troilus mine, including year-round roads, water treatment facilities and 137 km of Hydro-Québec power lines that don’t need to be built from scratch.

The economics also offer powerful leverage to the gold price. The technical report’s base case uses US$3,600 gold, a conservative assumption next to where gold trades today. Even at a gold price as low as $1,831, the after-tax NPV stays positive. And as gold moves higher, the numbers climb quickly:

With gold above $4,100 today, the project’s economics sit comfortably above the base case used in the technical report.

Troilus Mining Corp. is Now Preparing to Build And Has the Team, Engineering and Financing to Deliver

Troilus Mining Corp. (TSX: TLG); (OTCQX: CHXMF) has moved aggressively from feasibility to construction readiness over the past two years, hitting every major milestone on the development timeline.

The company benefits from a significant head start. As a result of previous operations at the Troilus Project, Troilus inherited a well-established infrastructure base valued at approximately $500 million.

This includes year-round truck-ready roads, water treatment facilities, a tailings facility sized for the first 12 years of production and 137 km of high-tension Hydro-Québec power lines running directly to the mine site.

This inherited infrastructure keeps capital intensity low and gives the company a meaningful advantage over greenfield projects of similar scale.

The real story now is how much has happened over the past year. Troilus Mining has systematically advanced through each stage required to reach construction…and the progress has been rapid:

Power is secured. In June 2026, the Quebec government and Hydro-Québec allocated a 70-megawatt block of low-cost hydroelectric power to the project. The site already had high-tension lines in place from the old mine, but this allocation is what makes a new operation possible. Quebec’s Minister of Economy, Innovation and Energy and its Minister of Natural Resources and Forests both came to the site to mark the announcement.

Engineering is complete and procurement has begun. Basic engineering is finished across the full project scope. Detailed engineering is now underway with a fully integrated team, with BBA handling engineering and procurement while EBC manages construction. In August 2026, Metso was selected for the first major package of processing equipment, backed by an export credit agency letter of interest covering up to 85% of that roughly US$155 million order. Contracts for the mining fleet are under negotiation now.

Permitting is in the final stages. Troilus Mining filed its Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) at both the provincial and federal level in June 2025. In July 2026, it was one of four projects selected for Quebec’s new Filon initiative, which assigns a dedicated government advisor to help strategic mining projects through permitting. The construction permit is expected in early 2027.

Site work is well underway. Dewatering of the former J pit is complete and work is advancing at the larger Z87 pit. The camp is being expanded from 80 people to 264 to house incoming construction crews. The company has also received a deforestation permit for early clearing work and plans a 600,000-tonne bulk sample from the Z87 pit.

A team that has successfully built mines before is in place. Building a mine of this size takes more than a great deposit. It takes people who have done it before…and Troilus has spent the past two years assembling exactly that kind of team.

CEO Justin Reid has taken a company down this road before. He led Sulliden Gold to the doorstep of construction permits before the company was acquired. Now he’s steering Troilus through the same stages.

Denis Rivard, EVP Projects, heads the engineering effort. He has engineered multi-billion-dollar projects around the world.

Construction Director Richard Groleau just built Equinox Gold’s roughly $2 billion Greenstone mine in Ontario, where he led the construction effort. He brought his entire team with him to Troilus.

Other recent additions include Andy Fortin as VP Operations and General Manager (previously with Agnico Eagle), Chris Sharpe as VP Technical Services and Julien Roufast as VP Commercial.

The timeline to production is clear. With the construction permit expected in early 2027, a two-year build is targeted to begin that year. Commissioning and pre-production are expected by the end of 2029, with the first full year of production in 2030.

Troilus continues to drill, with a 40,000-meter program in 2026 aimed at optimizing the mine plan. But with 14.5 million ounces already defined, the focus has turned to the next chapter: building the mine and bringing it into production.

Why Troilus Mining Corp. (TSX: TLG); (OTCQX: CHXMF) May Still Be Trading at a Significant Discount

Troilus Mining Corp. (TSX: TLG); (OTCQX: CHXMF)

shares have roughly quadrupled since the start of 2024, but even after that run it still appears likely that the stock hasn’t fully priced in what’s already been accomplished.

The analyst consensus target sits at C$4.52, with a high target of C$6.00… representing upside of more than 130% from today’s prices. And the company’s current market cap of approximately C$1 billion is less than a third of the project’s US$3.2 billion after-tax NPV…and a mere fraction of the valuations commanded by comparable projects further along the Lassonde Curve.

The Lassonde Curve maps the typical life cycle of a mining stock. Share prices tend to run on discovery, drift lower through the long years of studies and permitting, then re-rate as a company locks up financing, starts construction and moves into production. Troilus is entering that final stretch now, with some of its biggest de-risking milestones still ahead.

Artemis Gold shows what that re-rating can look like. Artemis received construction permits for its Blackwater gold project in British Columbia in March 2023 and poured its first gold in January 2025. Today it carries a market value of about C$9.1 billion. Troilus is roughly three years behind on a similar path, with a market value of about C$1 billion.

For anyone who feels they’ve already missed the move in Troilus, the curve tells a different story. Historically, the steepest part of the climb has come after construction begins.

So what’s still being overlooked? In part, the sheer scale of the de-risking that has taken place over the past year.

Consider what Troilus has put in place:

In September 2026, KfW IPEX-Bank and Société Générale issued a credit-approved commitment letter for US$850 million, the result of roughly 18 months of due diligence on the project’s technical, environmental and permitting details. The company expects its total debt package to reach about US$1.1 billion of the US$1.43 billion initial capital cost, with export credit agencies from Canada, Germany, Denmark, Finland and Sweden backing the project. Troilus expects to have the full financing picture in place by the end of the year.

In November 2025, Troilus closed a $172.5 million bought deal public offering, providing capital to advance the project through permitting and into construction readiness.

On the commercial side, Troilus has signed a memorandum of agreement with Aurubis in Germany and a memorandum of understanding with Boliden in Sweden, two of Europe’s leading copper smelters, with negotiations ongoing with a domestic Canadian refiner. These agreements line up future revenue partners for the mine’s copper concentrate.

The market has started to take notice as well. In September 2026, Troilus was added to the VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF (GDXJ), one of the most widely followed junior mining funds, after meeting the fund’s inclusion thresholds for the first time. VanEck was already among Troilus’s largest institutional shareholders. Earlier this year, Troilus was also added to the Amplify Junior Silver Miners ETF (SILJ).

Taken together, this means the question of whether Troilus Mining can finance a US$1.4 billion project is close to being answered.

And with the rest of the financing package expected to come together by year end, the next twelve months are loaded with potential re-rating catalysts for the company. Troilus is targeting a construction decision before the end of 2026. The construction permit is anticipated in early 2027, with construction set to begin that year.

Troilus Mining Corp.’s Copper Resources Offer Additional Upside Potential

The copper component of the Troilus story adds a powerful layer of strategic value.

Copper carries “critical mineral” designation in both Canada and the United States, and global demand is accelerating, driven not only by the electrification of transportation and the buildout of renewable energy infrastructure, but increasingly by the explosive growth of AI data centers, which require massive amounts of copper for power delivery and cooling systems.

Although gold provides about 88% of project revenue, copper makes up the largest share of the physical metal Troilus will produce. The mine is expected to deliver 472 million pounds of payable copper over its life, shipped as a gold-rich copper concentrate averaging about 63,000 dry metric tonnes per year over the first 21 years.

With agreements already in place with Aurubis and Boliden and the Quebec government putting an emphasis on critical minerals, Troilus’s copper exposure is becoming a strategic asset in its own right.

Analysts’ Consensus:
Significant Upside Potential
for Troilus Mining Corp.

Troilus Mining Corp. is now covered by eight analysts, including New York-based Maxim Group, the company’s first US analyst. Each firm conducts its own due diligence. All of them have visited the site multiple times. Following the September technical report, the average price target of C$4.52 represents potential upside of 118% from recent prices. The current targets from all eight firms:

The company is currently 64% institutionally held, with long-term backing from groups including VanEck, CDPQ, Fonds de solidarité FTQ and Equinox Partners.

Cormark analyst Richard Gray has said that Troilus Mining Corp. is “trading at a significant discount to other large development projects” and views the company as “a potential takeout target for midtier and senior producers looking for growth in a Tier 1 jurisdiction.”

And Desjardins analyst Allison Carson has written that she views Troilus “as a potential acquisition target” with “significant upside to its current valuation based on recent comparable takeout multiples.”

A project of this scale in a Tier 1 Canadian mining jurisdiction is rare…and as Troilus advances toward construction, the potential exists for the company to attract the attention of mid-tier and major producers looking to grow their pipeline.
