You May Not Like BlackBerry’s (BBRY) New Move
Less than two years after launching their Classic smartphone, BlackBerry announced that they will be ditching it.
The company will no longer make the model that had a lot of fanfare. The model hit the market in 2014 and features a 3.5″ screen, longer battery life, and a standard keyboard and touch screen.
According to Ralph Pini, the company’s chief operating officer and general manager for devices, the Classic has long surpassed the average lifespan for a smartphone in today’s market.
Pini said that BlackBerry will now focus on updating its smartphone lineup.
