Unilever to Acquire Sundial Brands

Consumer goods company Unilever will be acquiring U.S based body care products company Sundial Brands.

The news about the acquisition was revealed on Monday however no financial terms were released.

Unilever, the maker behind Dove soap, announced the deal on Monday that it would be buying Sundial, the company behind brands such as Nubian Heritage and Madam C.J. Walker.

As part of the deal, Sundial will operate as a standalone unit and it’s founder Richeleiu Dennis will manage it.

Unilever said in a statement that Sundial Brands expects revenue this year of about $240 million.
