Twitter (TWTR) CEO Says Something We All Can Do For Free Was His Best Investment
Walking is one of the most healthy things we can do for our bodies, but also for our minds. The time we spend walking could be time spent unwinding and easing our minds.
This is exactly how Twitter’s CEO Jack Dorsey feels, as walking was the best investment he ever made.
Here is a man worth an estimted $1.3 billion, so keep that in mind.
In “Tools of Titans,” a book by Tim Ferriss that discusses the daily routines and habits of world class performers, Dorsey said the most worthwhile investment he’s ever made was walking.
“Taking the time to walk to work every day. Five miles, one hour and 15 minutes.”
He told CNN Money that the walking was “a very clearing time.” During this 5 mile walk, the CEO doesn’t email or text and uses the time to listen to music or audio books and think.
“I want to put as much unexpected potential in front of me because I think something that you don’t plan will always make you think differently,” he continued.
“A healthier lifestyle ultimately makes me more creative and allows me to think more cohesively,” the CEO has also told Macro.
