This is How Apple’s CEO Feels About Warren Buffet Investing in the Company
It was on Thursday that the Oracle of Omaha, Warren Buffett, revealed that his Berkshire Hathaway company had purchased 75 million shares of tech giant Apple.
The purchase was made during the first quarter and his reveal pushed shares of the iPhone maker up to an all-time high on Friday morning.
Berkshire is now the third largest shareholder of the company after Vanguard and BlackRock.
So how did Apple’s CEO Tim Cook take the news? He said, “On a personal level, I’ve always greatly admired Warren and have always been grateful for his insight and advice.”
Cook also admitted that he is “thrilled” that Buffett is a major shareholder in the company now.
“It is an unbelievable company,” is what Buffett said to CNBC.
