Tesla’s CEO May Have Plan to Rescue Thai Boys Trapped in Cave

It’s Elon Musk to the rescue… hopefully.

Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk has sent a team of engineers to help save 12 boys and their football coach who have been trapped in a Thailand cave for roughly two weeks.

Musk is sending a group of engineers from two of his companies, SpaceX and The Boring Company, who will leave on Saturday to “see if we can be helpful to the government.”

The entrepreneur tweeted on Friday, “SpaceX & Boring Co engineers headed to Thailand tomorrow to see if we can be helpful to govt. There are probably many complexities that are hard to appreciate without being there in person.”

Since the news broke about the boys being trapped, Musk has been commenting on the rescue through Twitter and offering his help to Thailand’s government.

The boys and their coach could be looking at months of being underground until rescuers can figure out how to get them out.
