Tesla’s CEO Just Called This Man a Child Rapist
The feud between Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk and British cave diver Vernon Unsworth is far from over.
Musk just called the man a ‘child rapist,’ after calling him a “pedo” in July.
According to Musk, Unsworth had moved to Chiang Rai, Thailand in order to find a child bride. Unsworth has denied these claims repeatedly however and his lawyer, L. Lin Wood, told CNBC this week that his client would be suing Musk for the comments.
Musk took to his Twitter in August and said that it was “strange” that Unsworth had not sued him for the July comments.
Unsworth, who helped rescue a boys’ soccer team that was trapped in a flooded cave in Chiang Rai, Thailand, had said Musk’s idea to rescue the boys was just a “PR stunt.”
Representatives for Musk and his three companies, Tesla, SpaceX and The Boring Company, did not have an immediate comment about the matter.
Musk told BuzzFeed this week, “I suggest that you call people you know in Thailand, find out what’s actually going on and stop defending child rapists, you f—— a——.”
According to Musk, Unsworth ahd traveled to Thailand and lived in the country “30 to 40 years” and that he eventually moved to Chiang Rai to find a child bride. Musk had no evidence to back up these claims.
“As for this alleged threat of a lawsuit, which magically appeared when I raised the issue (nothing was sent or raised beforehand), I f—— hope he sues me,” Musk said to BuzzFeed.
