There was a fire at Tesla’s factory in Fremont, California on Thursday night.

According to the electric vehicle maker, the fire was contained to a cardboard bailing machine and there were no injuries.

The company also said the fire had been put out quickly.

A Tesla spokesperson stated on Friday, “Last night, the structure outside our factory that houses the cardboard and other wood and paper products that are being recycled caught fire. There were no injuries and we’d like to thank the Fremont Fire department for putting it out quickly. We’re investigating the cause.”

The company also assured that the fire had no relation to the new GA4 production line and did not affect output.

It was just this last Sunday that the company also had a fire that effected work for several hours.

At the time CEO Elon Musk gave a warning to his employees about foul play, and asked to be “on the alert for anything that’s not in the best interests of our company.”
