T-Mobile (TMUS) Is About To Make A Very Big Purchase
Author By Sophia VidaPosted on T-Mobile has just entered into an agreement with cable MSO (multi service operator) Charter Communications Inc to acquire a license of 700 MHz A Block spectrum for Eastern Montana from the latter.
The leading U.S. national wireless carrier said the spectrum will cover 600,000 point of presence (POPS) and 120,000 square miles of geographical area.
Financial details have not yet been disclosed but T-Mobile expects to own 700 MHz licenses, covering 269 million POPs.
