This is Why T-Mobile Shares Were Halted
Shares of T-Mobile were halted in after hours trading on Wednesday for what the company would probably consider a good reason.
The telecom company reported its second quarter financial results that blew the Street away. While Wall Street analysts had been waiting for 38 cents a share, T-Mobile reported earnings of 67 cents a share.
The halt in trading ended around 4:35PM EST.
For the second quarter, T-Mobile also reported revenue of $10.2 billion which came in way ahead of the $9.8 billion that analysts polled by FactSet had estimated.
The company also announced that it had added 1.3 million net new total customers during the second quarter
